Who we are

Village Muni Cannabis Local is an extension of Saint Anthony Village’s long history of municipal retail. The City has operated its own liquor stores since 1948, and in 2024–2025 began exploring cannabis retail as a natural next step. With this expansion, we continue our tradition of offering high-quality, compliant products that evolve with the needs of our community.

Every product on our shelves meets a strict standard before it reaches a customer. We test, verify, and curate with the same discipline the City has applied to municipal retail for decades. Merchandising is deliberate, not decorative. The result is a store built on integrity first, where trust is earned through consistency rather than promised through marketing.

A Reimagined Retail Experience

In 2025, the City rebranded and renovated its Saint Anthony Wine & Spirits stores, introducing the Village Muni identity, a blend of nostalgic charm and modern design. The Village Muni Cannabis Local carries that same spirit forward: inviting, fresh, and rooted in place.

Step inside and the energy is upscale but unhurried. Staff is trained to ask questions before making recommendations, treating each visit as a conversation rather than a transaction. Meet Jacqara

Jacqara has more than seven years of hands-on cannabis expertise, including cultivation, operations, and compliance, with deep roots in cannabis education. She is helping guide store development and laying the operational groundwork for our new cannabis store. She earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Delaware and co-founded a cannabis hospitality and events brand rooted in community engagement.
